Talyn Edelson is a Tennessee-born action actress and stunt performer from Stillwater, Oklahoma. Talyn currently lives in Malibu, CA.
Edelson has a deep passion for expressing herself through movement. Since age seven, Talyn has studied varying forms of martial arts and weaponry including Taekwondo, Karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Filipino Martial Arts, and Muay Thai. She holds a second degree black belt in ATA Taekwondo under the late Mark Hale and won at World Championships in sparring when she was a teenager.
Talyn was consistently performing in varying types of theater and musical theatre as a routine part of life from childhood throughout the end of university in addition to taking lessons in dance and playing on many teams (soccer, wakeboarding, cheerleading, sailing, basketball, etc.).
Talyn studied at University of Missouri- Columbia for her freshman year and holds degrees in Theatre Performance and Graphic/Motion Design from Oklahoma State University.
In her spare time she still participates in activities such as martial arts, yoga, snowboarding and firearms training while growing her company Villainy Street.
