At Blackbox Acting Studio, AJ Links has further nurtured his talents, pushing him to explore the depths of his characters in the on camera audition. Mickey also delved into the world of comedy with Lesly Kahn & Co, gaining a better understanding of character thoughts and script analysis. Improv at UCB-NYC, Second City & The Annoyance Chicago, allowed him to embrace spontaneity and quick thinking.
To excel in auditions, Mickey worked with experienced coaches like Matt Miller of TV Lands "Teachers", Executive Director of casting at ABC - Marci Phillips, Erika Jensen of Calleri Casting, and Sarah Cayce of Compass Casting sharpening his audition techniques and impressing casting directors. To balance his training with a more classical approach, he also learned from the esteemed Larry Yando at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre.
