Suriya starrer Kanguva has finally taken a huge jump with its advanced sales. While yesterday the film registered an advance booking of 1.58 crore gross, it has now taken a jump of almost 360% by November 13, 8 Pm. In fact, with the gross collection, the film has already entered the top 10 charts of the biggest Kollywood openers of 2024.

The Tamil drama, for the first day, has earned 7.39 crore with 4 lakh sold tickets in advance as recorded till 8 Pm. This number has already surpassed the day 1 advance booking of Dhanush’s Raayan.

With a gross collection of 7.39 crore already, Suriya has entered the top 10 Tamil openers of 2024 in India, surpassing the gross opening collection of Tamannaah Bhatia’s Aranmanai 4, Rajinikanth‘s Salaam and ArulNithi’s Demonte Colony 2.

In a recent interview, Director Ajay Gnanamuthu shared some exciting details about his upcoming horror film Demonte Colony 2, which is a sequel to his 2015 hit Demonte Colony. He revealed that he has planned to make four parts of the Demonte Colony franchise, and has already shot some visuals for the third part. He also said that Demonte Colony 2 will have both prequel and sequel elements, and will show what happened before and after the events of the first film. He claimed that Demonte Colony 2 will be different from all other horror films, and will have a big scale and budget.

The movie have already planned for four films is very rarely seen in Indian films. One film which plans similarly and shot some visuals for multiple parts were James Cameron’s Avatar. Avatar 2 recently released and Avatar 3 & 4 is in works.

The film, which stars Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles, is written and produced by Ajay Gnanamuthu, who also directed the first part. The teaser gives a glimpse of the spooky and thrilling plot of the film, which is set to release in 2023.

Demonte Colony 2 is a continuation of the 2015 film Demonte Colony, which was a hit among the audience and critics for its unique concept and tense atmosphere.
