Dash was born in Moscow. Her fascination with photography began at the age of 4. The decision to pursue acting and filmmaking naturally evolved from the curiosity about storytelling and moving image.
Before immigrating to the United States, Dash spent some time in Europe, England and a year in Egypt.
In 2010 she relocated to Los Angeles to continue studying acting under Gregory Berger-Sobeck, Yale Drama School graduate and faculty member. After six years on the West Coast, Dash moved to New York. Brooklyn, where she finds most of her stories and endless inspiration, became her home.
In summer 2020 Dash had her debut as a cinematographer, creating a full length documentary film Inside Color, that was released in 2021 and received a couple of festival nods.
Dash has a few different project in various production stages.
