She first appeared on tv in 2004 with Valeria Graci, as the duo "Katia & Valeria". In the following years on "Zelig Circus" they created various characters such as the wacky Miss Italy hopefuls, Katiana and Valeriana. She participated in numerous comedy shows like "Scherzi a parte", "Buona la Prima", "Colorado Cafè", "Mamma mia", "Quelli che il calcio", "Burlesque", "Take me out". In 2010 she began her career as a tv show host with "Salsa Rosa" (Comedy Central), "Zelig Off" and "Zelig One" (Italia 1), "Quanto manca" (Rai2) and "Trasformat" (Italia 1) as a comic showgirl on Enrico Papi's show. In 2013 she was a judge on "Cuochi e Fiamme" (La7), and from 2015 to 2017 she was on Comedy Central hosting "Fish & Chips" together with Angelo Pisani. From 2017 to 2019 she hosted "Junior Bake Off" and "Cake Star" on Real Time and returned again in 2022 with Damiano Carrara. In 2017 she was a regular guest on the musical game show "Bring The Noise" (Italia 1). For the 2019 - 2020 season she was part of the regular cast of Piero Chiambretti's "Repubblica delle Donne" and she hosted "90 Special" on Italia 1 with Nicola Savino. In 2021 he hosted "D'Amore e d'accordo" on Real Time and that same year she participated in the first edition of "Lol: Chi ride è fuori" on Prime Video, winning second place. She's very active on the radio too, in 2012 she hosted "Scaldasole Night Live" on Radio Popolare and since 2018 she's been on Radio 101 daily with Alvin. Katia Follesa also worked in film, debuting in 2011 in "Vacanze di Natale a Cortina" directed by Neri Parenti and in 2012 in "Benvenuti al Nord" directed by Luca Miniero.
