Ambokile Kokayi

Her name is Ambokile'- meaning "one redeemed by God." A native of
Honolulu Hawaii, she has always had a passion to be in film since she
was a little girl.
Ambokile' began professional acting classes in Washington and eventually ended up in the beautiful City of Angels, to make it happen, where she studied Meisner at Playhouse West and continuously works with a variety of acting coaches. In the past year, she landed both supporting roles and lead role as Eve, the world's most beautiful woman (wherein she actually channeled her favorite childhood actress, Marilyn Monroe) in the theatrical play, "Seven Deadly Sins," at Hollywood's Berubian Theatre; a television appearance in Gloria Allred's - We the People, as Plaintiff, Charmaine Rowe; supporting actress in the film, "Ugly Shoes" (post-production 2012); and just recently landed lead as Sunset in the feature film "Shadow of the Monarch" (pre-production 2013). She has also appeared in television shows such as (CBS) Men Behaving Badly, Chicago Hope, Babylon 5 and Pacific Blue, just to name a few.
Ambokile' is also a songstress, songwriter, and avid spoken word artist. She has been writing and performing from the tender age of 7 (following the footsteps of her mother, who is also a writer). In 2010 she released her CD, "Simply Ambokile' - ThoughtZ,". Her musical appearances include but are not limited to packing the house at Universal Studio, which was followed by a favorable national write-up in the publication, Splash Worldwide Magazine.
