- Gleb Osatinski has directed and produced seven award-winning short films, screened at over fifty film festivals worldwide. His film, THE HOUSE AT THE EDGE OF THE GALAXY, was nominated for the FutureCity Yokohama Award at Short Shorts and Asia Film Festival. It opened the CRAFTED FOR LEXUS Screening Awards at Short Shorts and Asia Film Festival. It also won a Vortex Sci-Fi and Fantasy Award at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and Best Sci-Fi Short at the Garden State Film Festival. His film THE QUANTIFIED SELF was nominated for Best Narrative Short at the Woodstock Film Festival. He received a Programmers Award at the Sidewalk Film Festival and a Runner-Up award at the Boston Underground Film Festival. It was also featured on ARTE TV in France and Germany. His short film CHECKMATE won the REEL13 contest and was aired on PBS. His short film FATHER was nominated for the Golden Dragon Award at the Krakow Film Festival 2020. OUTSIDERS won Best Student Short at the Paris Film Festival, Moscow Film Festival, Best Drama at the Real Film Festival, and received nominations for Best Dramatic Short from the Ashland Film Festival and Maryland Film Festival. He is a recipient of the 2020 Katherina Otto-Bernstein grant at Columbia University and a Fiscal Sponsorship at Gotham ( IFP ) in 2021 for his latest project, OBRAZA ( RESENTMENT ). Gleb is a Lighthouse Selections Talent at T-Port Market in 2021, curated by Celine Roustan (Palm Springs International Film Festival and ShortFest, SXSW, TIFF ). OBRAZA ( RESENTMENT) premiered at Berlinale ( Generation ) in 2024 and won Best Short Film at the Vilnius International Film Festival, Best Jury Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival ( TeenArena ) , Best Narrative Short Narrative Award at the Oscar Qualified Woodstock Film Festival and a Jury Award at Cinemagic Film Festival in Belfast, Ireland.
