His approach to filmmaking is grounded not only in the technical mastery he continues to hone, but also the craft of relative, resonant screenwriting. His background in the Brooklyn DIY music scene along with his experience operating within the team dynamics of a film set solidifies his stance as an artistic collaborator, first and foremost.

Samuel is a fan of metal, hip-hop, Indian food, and science fiction novels. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Katie and two cats.
