Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, used to have a prominent position on the right-hand side of Disney+'s Marvel Cinematic Universe hub banner, but she has now been replaced by Deadpool.
This probably doesn't mean very much: With Deadpool and Wolverine now streaming, Marvel clearly wanted the Merc With a Mouth on the banner, and decided to switch him out with the other character known for breaking the fourth wall.
Of course, there are other theories doing the rounds!
Last year, during the Hollywood strikes, Disney's Bob Iger called the writers and actors' decision to strike "very disturbing," and asked their respective unions to "be realistic" with their demands. Several high-profile actors put the exec on blast, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany shared a blunt rebuttal of her own.
"I think he’s completely out of touch," she told THR from the picket lines in New York City.

What’s the secret acting trick to nailing a part in a Trey Parker and Matt Stone project? Shut the hell up and say the lines Trey Parker and Matt Stone wrote, of course.
When the South Park creators’ long-awaited comedic musical about their favorite friendly religious order, The Book of Mormon, premiered at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in 2011, it was an instant hit. Critics and audiences praised the playwriting and the performances, specifically that of Frozen star Josh Gad in the role of Elder Cunningham. Then, when Gad left the show in 2012, the Book of Mormon producers scrambled to find an actor who could handle the chaotic script from Parker and Stone while most closely imitating Gad’s immaculate performance, hiring future Miracle Workers star Jon Bass to do his best Gad impression.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law debuted on the Disney+ streaming service in August of 2022, wrapping up its nine episode run that October. The door was left wide open for further She-Hulk adventures, but earlier this year, star Tatiana Maslany said she didn’t think there would be a second season because they “blew their budget.” But Maslany is an expert at the secrecy game, having spread misinformation about the show before it aired and even flat-out denying that she had been cast when news of her involvement first leaked online, so we can’t take her word on these things. Looking to find out whether or not there will be a She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 2, ComicBook.com turned to the show’s executive producer Wendy Jacobson. She couldn’t say for sure, but she did share ideas on how they could approach the material if...

There have been plenty of bizarre film and TV premises over the years - particularly in the horror genre - but this one might be up there with the most bats*t yet!
Deadline reports that a new comedy horror series titled The Nightbeast is in the works from Leah Rachel (Chambers) and Travis Jackson (Hemlock Grove), with the pilot being developed for Amazon MGM Studios.
Tatiana Maslany is set to star as a woman who begins a sexual relationship with... the Bogeyman!
Per the official logline, The Nightbeast follows a young mother who is “unsatisfied with her seemingly perfect suburban life begins an affair with the boogeyman in her son’s closet — a surprisingly sexy man called the Nightbeast. But this harmless affair she thought to be a figment of her imagination begins to have unexpected consequences, as her two worlds increasingly begin to collide in this seductive, darkly comedic tale.

Set in the well-heeled part of New York’s Upper West Side Jewish community, Tribeca Festival audience award winner “Bad Shabbos” is an entertaining, fast-paced comedy about a Sabbath dinner gone terribly awry. After four previous indie features, director Daniel Robbins should score wider distribution with this tender look at several generations of modern Jews trying to balance the polarities of secular and religious lives, along with the dilemma of a dead body in the bathroom. Robbins and his longtime co-writer Zack Weiner up the comedy ante by stirring in several dysfunctional family dramas, an inter-faith culture clash and an intrepid doorman. A strong ensemble cast nails the tasty dialogue and increasingly frantic action without falling into shtick.
David (Jon Bass) and his fiancée Meg (Meghan Leathers), a shiksa already deep into conversion class, are headed for another Friday Sabbath dinner at the home of his parents, Richard (David Paymer...

As if their weekly shabbat gathering wasn’t already a reason for them to all start kvetching, imagine what happens when a Jewish family from Manhattan’s Upper West Side accidentally murders one of their dinner guests. Or when their future and very goy-ish in-laws try to pronounce the word “chutzpah.” Or when the Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man shows up wearing a yarmulke.
These are some of the shandas (that’s Yiddish for scandals, disgraces, shames, etc.) in Bad Shabbos, an ensemble comedy set during one long and volatile Friday night get-together that leaves a body fresh on the ground and ready for shiva.
Directed by Daniel Robbins (Pledge), who co-wrote the script with Zack Weiner, the film is rather familiar in conception and execution, even if it concentrates on the very narrow community of upper-class Manhattanites that most of us know from the films of Woody Allen. Some...

Tatiana Maslany, star of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, doesn’t think a second season of the Marvel series is going to happen.
During a recent interview, Maslany explained the reason as to why she thinks the Disney+ show will not be coming back.
“I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks,'” Maslany said during an appearance on Codenames Live! — The New Class on Twitch.
In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Maslany starred as Jennifer Walters, an attorney who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. The nine-episode first season focused on Walters navigating her life as a single woman who is also a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
Guest appearances from the MCU in the first season included Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong, as well as Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga,...

The Daniel Radcliffe-starring comedy anthology series Miracle Workers has been canceled at TBS after four seasons, making the August 28 episode the series finale. But now loyal fans are wondering if the show might be saved by another network or streaming service. As reported by Deadline, the show’s future looked grim back in January when TBS no longer had options on the cast, meaning new deals would have needed to be made for a possible fifth season. However, the creative team was said to have had storyline ideas already in place for Season 5, so if ratings for Season 4 did well, it was possible the show could have been renewed. And sources say that Radcliffe is keen to carry on with the show, which is something of a pet project of his. In addition to Radcliffe, the series starred Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass, who portrayed new characters each season.

There was no miracle for TBS' last remaining live-action comedy series. To no surprise, the cable channel has cancelled the Miracle Workers series, so it won't be back for a fifth season. The fourth season aired over five weeks during the summer.
The fourth season of the Miracle Workers comedy anthology series stars Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass. Guest stars include Quinta Brunson, Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Mooney, Ego Nwodim, Lolly Adefope, Paul F. Tompkins, and Lisa Loeb. Simon Rich created the show. Subtitled End Times, season four is set in a post-apocalyptic future. The story follows a wasteland road warrior named Sid (Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord named Freya (Viswanathan) as they face the most dystopian nightmare: settling down for a more normal life in the suburbs. Miracle Workers has come to an end. TBS has canceled the anthology comedy series, its last remaining live-action comedy, after four seasons. The Season 4 finale, which is now the series finale, aired August 28.
The cancellation is not entirely unexpected. Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reported in January that Season 4 could be the last. At the time, she heard that TBS no longer had options on the cast, led by Daniel Radcliffe, so new deals would need to be made for a possible fifth season — a daunting proposition, which networks rarely resort to. But she heard that the series’ creative team had an idea for a potential fifth season that Radcliffe was excited about, so, if Season 4 did well ratings-wise, it was possible that the show could have continued with Radcliffe, who would have needed to make a new pact.

TBS original comedy “Miracle Workers” has been canceled after four seasons, Variety has confirmed. The cancellation comes just months after the series finale aired in August.
Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Season 4 (aptly titled “End Times”) of the anthology comedy picked up with wasteland warrior (Daniel Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord (Geraldine Viswanathan) as they face the most dystopian nightmare of all: settling down in the suburbs. “Together they navigate the existential horrors of married life and small-town living, all under the dubious guidance of a wealthy junk trader (Steve Buscemi),” reads the description. Previous seasons covered the Oregon Trail and the Dark Ages.
In addition to Radcliffe and Viswanathan, the series also starred Karan Soni (“Deadpool”) and Jon Bass (“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”), and Karan Soni. Following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, several original TBS shows were cancelled and/or licensed to other company's outlets. In October 2022, it was announced that season four of Miracle Workers would premiere in January, but that date came and went. The new episodes have finally surfaced, but TBS appears to be burning them off, running two at a time over five weeks in the middle of summer. Has this show already been cancelled? Could Miracle Workers still be renewed for season five? Stay tuned.

TBS‘s delightful oddball comedy Miracle Workers is finally back and delivering its zaniest season yet with End Times, the fourth chapter in the anthology series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Geraldine Viswanathan, Steve Buscemi, Jon Bass, and Karan Soni. Fans who have followed the gang since Season 1 know that every chapter sees them playing new characters. So, who are they in the End Times, which evokes comparisons to Mad Max and Dune among other apocalyptic works? Radcliffe and Viswanathan, who have played out the “will they or won’t they?” romance in past seasons, are kicking things off as a married couple, Sid and Freya. The dynamic change offered the stars a new avenue to explore. “It was really nice to switch it up and kind of mine the territory of a relationship versus like the ‘will they won’t they’ of it all,” Viswanathan tells TV Insider. “I think we’ve definitely exhausted that,...

Daniel Radcliffe isn’t eager to step back into the Wizarding World. In a recent interview, the actor said he isn’t “seeking” a cameo appearance in the upcoming TV show reboot of the “Harry Potter” franchise.
First announced in April, the upcoming “Harry Potter” series for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max streamer will adapt all seven books in J.K. Rowling’s popular series of children’s fantasy novels. The series will be the second screen adaptation of the popular books, following the Warner Bros.’ original “Harry Potter” film series, which shot Radcliffe to international fame when he was only 11 years old.
In an interview with Comic Book.com published Monday, Radcliffe said he understands the new adaptation will be their own interpretation, and that he believes his presence will be a distraction from the new actor playing the title character.

"I don't care if we live in Boomtown or the wasteland, as long as I am with the same violent warlord that I fell in love with." TBS has revealed another new trailer for their upcoming post-apocalyptic season of the anthology comedy series Miracle Workers. This latest season, now set to launch in July this summer, has been dubbed Miracle Workers: End Times - and it takes place in a post-nuke, dusty setting, riffing on Mad Max. We also posted a trailer in December, though the launch was delayed since that initial unveiling. In a gritty "end times" future, a wasteland warrior (Daniel Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord (Geraldine Viswanathan) face the most dystopian nightmare of all: settling down in the suburbs. Instead of being an action movie, the series plays like a Mad Max sitcom. The cast also features Steve Buscemi, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass. We don't usually...

“It had everything to do with it,” admits Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”), about the main reason why she wanted to star in “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” Portraying Jennifer Walters on the show meant she could upend expectations by giving voice to a woman in her 30s awkwardly navigating her career and personal life, who just so happens to also be a superhero in her spare time. “When I read the first script,” she explains, “it was so funny, so human and so irreverent of any expectations of what a superhero is. I found Jennifer just so infinitely relatable.” Watch our exclusive video interview above.

"I don't know how I can help." Gravitas Ventures has revealed an official trailer for a crime thriller titled Among the Beasts, the latest from actor / filmmaker Matthew Newton. Now set to open both in theaters and on VOD coming up in February. When a gangster's daughter reluctantly teams with a former Marine to find her kidnapped cousin, the combat veteran must overcome his own demons in order to rescue the child. There's not much more to the plot than that, yet another of these junk films being dumped on VOD every week. This indie thriller stars Tory Kittles, Libe Barer, Sarunas J. Jackson, Kate Easton, Jeremy Holm, Mark Mitton, with Jon Bass, and Jim Norton. Unfortunately this looks instantly forgettable and entirely uninteresting, not even worth watching the trailer either. Save yourself the trouble and just skip it. ›››

"I'm just going to stop ask questions at this point, and sort of go with it." Time to get your straps on!! TBS has unveiled an official trailer for their upcoming post-apocalyptic season of the anthology comedy series Miracle Workers. This latest season, debuting in early 2023, has been dubbed Miracle Workers: End Times - and it takes place in a post-nuke, dusty setting, riffing on Mad Max. "Welcome to the Apocalypse." In a gritty "end times" future, a wasteland warrior (Daniel Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord (Geraldine Viswanathan) face the most dystopian nightmare of all settling down in the suburbs. Instead of being an action movie, the series plays like a Mad Max sitcom. The cast also features Steve Buscemi, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass. We don't usually post many trailers for TV series, but this is just too good to pass up. Who doesn't love mashing up Mad Max with some comedy?...

The Boy Who Lived evidently survived the apocalypse. TBS released the official trailer for the fourth season of its “Miracle Workers” anthology on Tuesday, showing “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe leading a sitcom-riff on the “Mad Max” franchise.

Along with Radcliffe, each season features Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass in the main cast.
Season 1 was set in the modern day, focusing on a pair of angels attempting to avert Earth’s destruction, while Seasons 2 and 3 were period pieces set in the English Dark Ages and the American Oregon Trail, respectively. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law actor Jon Bass diabolically becomes Hulk-King as Todd for a minute in Episode 9, then Jen Walters rewrites the climax to delete his existence in Marvel's Disney+ series. Jon's Hulk King comes and goes but the actor tells CineMovie that he enjoyed at least being able to hulk out in a motion capture suit along with Tatiana Maslany, Tim Roth and Mark Ruffalo.

Jon Bass loves playing the villain. "[It's] the best," he tells Popsugar.
The 33-year-old actor stars in "She-Hulk" as Todd Phelps, the obnoxious billionaire who gives us the world's cringiest "Wakanda Forever" and turns out to be a raging misogynist hellbent on stopping She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany).
"I love it. I had so much fun," he says of being the bad guy. "Playing the villain is so much more fun than playing the hero." Of course, Bass has played the villain before. He explored his bad side in a role on "The Newsroom," and he even played a jerk also named Todd on "Miracle Workers." Bass notes that in some ways playing a bad guy "comes natural" to him. "Luckily, I don't mind poking fun at myself or at the sort of people we're trying to poke fun at."
He admits, "I think sometimes I have a punchable face," adding that it's "slightly punchable" and "slightly likable.

[This story contains spoilers for the season one finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.]
In the season finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, misogynistic billionaire Todd Phelps (Jon Bass) is revealed to be the story’s true villain.
He’s HulkKing — the creator behind Intelligencia, an online community of disenfranchised men and web trolls hellbent on hating Jen Walters (Tatiana Maslany), or She-Hulk. Fueled by their disdain for a woman in power, Intelligencia wants to publicly defame Jen, but more importantly, they’re out to steal her blood in order to take her Hulk powers.
Following the show’s final episode, Bass applauded head writer Jessica Gao for how the storyline navigates the action and the comedy, while also tackling issues like misogyny and sexism.
“It’s fortunate to be a part of something that is so funny and so on the nose, without hitting you over the head with it,” Bass tells The Hollywood Reporter.

“This is a mess!” Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) complains directly to the camera in the season finale of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” after several dangling plot strands from the season — the anti She-Hulk site Intelligencia run by toxic bro Todd Phelps (Jon Bass), the zen superhero retreat run by the Abomination (Tim Roth), the superhero influencer Titania (Jameela Jamil), the return of Jennifer’s cousin Bruce Banner as the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) — suddenly collided in the same showdown action sequence.

Suddenly, the screen cuts from her face to the Marvel Studios landing page on Disney+, and Jennifer (now transformed into She-Hulk) bursts out of the “She-Hulk” thumbnail and into one for a “Marvel Assembled” making-of doc.

This post contains spoilers for the "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" finale.
