Stephanie is a first generation Colombian/Puerto Rican who moved to NYC from Boston, MA to study at the "New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts". Although her passion is acting, she found an interest for taking the lead in story telling and started creating her own films. Most of her films, were based on experiences and pieces of her personal life that influenced the story she wanted to tell. Stephanie most recently won "Audience Favorite" at the Fort Myers Film Festival, for her latest short film, "Happy Anniversary". Then "Best Performance" in the Astoria Film Festival and "Overall Excellence" in the Hispanic International Film Festival for her first short film, "Hope You Feel Better". Stephanie also did well with genre films by winning "Best Short Horror" for directing, "Nose Goes" in the Santa Barbara International Movie Awards, La Indies, Jersey Shore Film Festival. Along with her wins, she has been nominated 4 times, and selected in multiple festivals across the nation and internationally.
