Tristan Heanue is an award-winning & multi-IFTA-nominated Actor and Filmmaker from Connemara, Co. Galway. His performance in Paddy Slatterys 'Broken Law' earned him a 'Best Lead Actor' nomination at the 2021 Irish Film and Television Academy Awards.
His short films Ciúnas (Silence) & Harvest also received nominations from the academy as well as winning multiple awards such as the Grand Prix at the 64th Cork Film Festival and the Writers Guild of Ireland 'Short Script of the Year' among others. His short film 'Today' also won the award for 'Best Debut Drama' at the Galway Film Fleadh.
In 2022 he was the recipient of the George Byrne Maverick Award given by the Dublin Film Critics Circle at the Dublin International Film Festival.
