"We've eaten them for years, now it's their turn!"
A whacky trailer has dropped for an absurd but amusing looking film called Attack of the Killer Donuts. When you watch the trailer, you'll see that the movie looks just as crazy and ridiculous as you'd think it would look with a title like that. Here's the synopsis:
A chemical accident in a sleepy town turns ordinary donuts into bloodthirsty monsters. Unaware of the donuts danger, Johnny, Michelle and Howard sell them to unsuspecting customers. When the donuts start eating their victims, the only way the three friends can save their sleepy town is to track down the Killer Donuts down and destroy them. The final standoff is where it all began: Dandy Donuts.
Yeah, the concept is stupid as hell, but you know what, some people might enjoy the stupidity of it. Hey, if a movie like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes...

"We've eaten them for years, now it's their turn!" Level 33 Entertainment has dropped a trailer for a goofy new horror comedy film titled Attack of the Killer Donuts, which is indeed about donuts that become bloody thirsty killers. They've thought of everything, haven't they? Maybe this is the perfect trailer to watch the day after Halloween, although it'll probably give you the munchies for donuts (just make sure the ones you buy aren't bloody thirsty killers). Attack of the Killer Donuts stars Justin Ray, Kayla Compton, Ben Heyman, Kassandra Voyagis, Michael Swan, and Aaron Groben. On one hand, it's kind of cool that something this wacky still exists (with its own theme song?!). On the other, this looks as awful as it sounds. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Scott Wheeler's Attack of the Killer Donuts, from YouTube: A chemical accident turns ordinary donuts into blood thirsty killers.

So, comets hit L.A. and people begin turning into zombies. What? No, I’m serious. This is a movie about comets or meteorites or some such nonsense, hitting L.A. and turning people into… well, I guess compelling them to put zombie masks on, because you can see people’s faces underneath the makeup. In all seriousness, I had no idea what to expect from Disaster L.A.. The cover made it look like just another generic, poorly-done zombie movie, but the fact that it was being released by Warner Bros – albeit a straight-to-video release -, and the fact that I had friends assuring me that this one was different, meant that I would give it a chance. Zombie movies used to be my favorite sub-genre of horror, up until they became popular, and studios started exploiting that popularity to death. Lately, I try and steer clear of all-things-zombie,...
