Robert Szanto
- Additional Crew
- Producer
- Director
Born to parents fleeing ethnic cleansing and the Romanian dictator amidst the collapse of Communism in 1990, Robert Szanto grew up as a stateless refugee in Idaho and later sought refuge from there at New York University where he studied filmmaking and later became one of the youngest graduates in the school's history. Since then, he's worked on a wide variety of studio and independent feature films--both on set and later as a development executive and producer, and he's currently hard at work writing his feature directorial debut. He spends the remainder of his free time traveling from state fair-to-state fair freak show as a movie trivia spewing human version of IMDB, and his favorite films are "2001: A Space Odyssey," "The Big Lebowski," and "Dumb and Dumber." He also just saw "Rocky" for the first time. It was admittedly pretty great, but my--I mean his--*he* means his--heart will forever still be #TeamSchwarzenegger. Thank you, and as a quick final note to human readers: care for those who care about you, be kinder to everything in general, and please stop coming up with new flavors of mayonnaise. One was bad enough.
