Luis Vázquez(VIII)

Luis Vazquez is an American actor best known for his tough yet vulnerable onscreen presence. He was born in Puerto Rico and due to his father serving in the U.S. Army he traveled and lived throughout different parts of the country. As a young man he participated in many church plays but his interest in acting was first sparked in his last two years in high school while participating in theatre. During his senior year he was awarded the title "Biggest Ham Male" by his school's drama department. After high school Luis enlisted in the U.S. Navy and made a career in the military. His last assignment in the Navy and the most rewarding in his career was working for Naval Special Warfare being assigned to SEAL Team TWO. In addition, Luis also served as a law enforcement officer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

He is a graduate from Regent University with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting. Because of his diverse background, Luis rounds off his resume that lists such special skills as being proficient with firearms, trained as a medical tactical first responder, and experienced in stage combat and martial arts. He maintains an active lifestyle, having been trained in Human Performance Initiative (HPI), a system of strength and conditioning training whose methodology is rooted in the Special Forces.
