Cora Clifford was born in the United States. She grew up in the
Southwest, and began going to a Christian church at an early age. Cora
attended Protestant schools and Catholic schools. As a result, she
often portrays both Protestant denominations and Catholics in her
animated works. Cora's characters come from diverse backgrounds.
Sarah Woodland was developed initially as a literary character in the book series "GOD & the coyote." This series was not formally published but subplots of the series were used in "GOD and the coyote: a short film about Sarah." Sarah's animated character remains consistent with the brown-eyed,twenty-something year old woman in the book. Sarah has Epilepsy and clings to her faith in God when she suffers traumatic events. Sarah is not the perfect character, whatsoever, but her imperfections make her realistic.
The cut-out animated series "GOD & the coyote" also introduces other characters. Elian is an antagonist with a complicated history, and a bittersweet obsession for Sarah. Professor Palm is a love interest of Sarah's, and Jean(Sarah's brother) has an acidic relationship with his sister. Female characters include Francis Mc Allen, Belinda, and several other lively personalities.
Since Cora was a teenager, she has been involved in animation and writing. Currently, Cora releases cut-out style animation cartoons on the Internet to be watched for free. While these cartoons are not currently broadcast on television, Cora's you tube channel "IndieAnimation" is home to Christmas cartoons, and more cartoons about Sarah Woodland.
Cora is also an animal rights advocate. She donates to charities which help animals. To date, Cora is still involved in making Christian themed cartoons. Cora is also working on a degree in Education.
