Fernanda Tapia is a Nicaraguan-born filmmaker and comedian who is currently studying at the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she is honing her skills in filmmaking and comedy. With a background in performance, Fernanda brings a unique perspective to storytelling that resonates with audiences. Fernanda started her career as a professional dancer before transitioning to stand-up comedy, which sparked her passion for comedic storytelling. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in Cinema Production from Los Angeles City College and was accepted into the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Fernanda's breakout success came with her film, 'Loli, a Daca Mockumentary,' which won four awards and was accepted into 16 film festivals. With her experience as a performer and filmmaker, Fernanda collaborates effectively with her crew and actors to bring stories to life that inspire positive change.
