Alina Robert is an actress and Tv host born in Havana, Cuba; after moving to USA in 2008 she developed her professional career in her hometown Miami, Florida.

Alina Robert has recently being cast to portray one of the Dominican activist Mirabal sisters, Patria Mirabal in "The Roar of the Butterflies," the new drama series by Start Plus, which is part of The Walt Disney Company Latin America.

Alina starred in "Making Love Great Again" (HBO) and will seen in "Plantados" and "El Caballo." She also has credits in the films El Justiciero 2 for Cinemax, with the Elizabeth in Mount Dora and several short films, highlighting "Crisálidas" directed by Academy Award nominee Adriana Barraza.

Her experience on TV include roles in "Jenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio" (Netflix) and "Betty en NY" (Telemundo). "My Life is a Telenovela" (E! Entertainment) among others. However, Alina became a public figure during her participation in the TV Show 'Nuestra Belleza Latina" (2014) on Univision. As well, she was a co-host for the longest aired Hispanic Saturday Night Live TV Show "Sábado Gigante" (2015) alongside Don Francisco.

Alina has shown her passion for the theater by representing complex characters, highlighting her performance in the play, In the Time of the Butterflies, critically acclaimed and obtaining the title of Best Actress at the Broadway World Washington DC Awards (2019).

Alina Robert&#39;s first professional stage appearance was in 2011, when she won the Miss Cuban American, taking her to represent the cuban community of Miami in the international beauty contest, Miss Latinoamérica in Panama, Reina Mundial del Carnaval in Ecuador and Miss Caribbean World in British Virgin Islands. She hold the tittles Miss Latioamerica 2012 , Reina Mundial del Carnaval 2012 and Miss Cuban American 2012.
