Junaid Chundrigar (1986) was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and always had a fondness for zany animation. Shortly after graduating as at the Utrecht School of the Arts in 2011, he started a studio with a former classmate after his short 'Disassembled', a parody on Marvel superheroes, went viral and gained international interest. Commissioned by Marvel author Stan Lee's company to turn the concept of the short into a series, the YouTube series 'Bad Days' was born. After six years of leading, writing, and animating various project at the studio, varying from collaborations with YouTube channel How It Should Have Ended and creating the award-winning fantasy parody 'Kort maar Krachtig'/'Short but Sweet', Junaid decided to continue his work as a freelancer in 2018 and is currently working on (amongst others) the YouTube channel 'Pencilmation'. Next to commissioned projects, Junaid also works on both original short films like 'Ruimteshit en Dingen'/'Space Shit and Stuff' (2019) and web series such as 'Gerard en Stipje'.
