Jessey James Foster was born March 27, 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee. He
moved to Florida around the age of 6 where he grew up and currently
resides. While attending middle/high school he played percussion in
concert band, marching band, jazz band as well as studied music theory.
Knowing that he wanted to be a composer one day; he started composing
and arranging several pieces when he was younger to practice utilizing
both Digital Recording and Musical Notation. He currently (as of 2012)
attends State College of Florida as a full time Music Composition
student where he is studying with composer Rex Willis. Jessey is also
currently (as of 2012) playing percussion in the SCF Wind Ensemble, the
SCF Orchestra, as well as the Sarasota Pops Orchestra. (As of 2012) he
has also been contracted by Ample Libraries (A largely Percussion based
sample company) to do Kontakt Scripting/Programming and Graphic Design
including the TRX cymbal products. Jessey records his compositions in
his home studio using VSL Ensemble Pro and Sibelius all wired into Pro
Tools. He also also utilizes mostly apple products in his studio
including several Apple Cinema Displays and an 8 core Mac Pro.
