An American actor, Justin Mobley began his career in the entertainment industry writing songs for Disney, including hits like "Whodunit" from Shake It Up, and "That's What I Said" from Let It Shine soundtrack. In 2019, Justin transitioned from songwriting to acting, initially studying at Ted Sarantos School of Acting. Justin completed additional training with the Chicago Stunt Team, now known as S.E.T (Stunt Education Training), and the Acting Studio of Chicago. Recently, Justin has had the opportunity to collaborated and study with Emmy Award-winning and nominated creatives such as Erica Arvold, AJ Links, and Erica Bream. Just to name a few.
Justin is best known for his roles in shows such as "Chicago PD", "Chicago Med", "Justified: City Primeval", and "Power: Book IV Force." Justin has also written, produced, co-directed, and starred in his own independent films such as "The Devil's Whiskey (2022)", "Bella (2022)", and "Communified". Which, "The Devil's Whiskey," has won multiple independent film awards such as Best Short, Best Cinematography, Best black lives matter short, and many more.
Justin's love of acting stems from a desire to fully understand himself and the complex ways in which real experiences can be expressed on screen to inspire and challenge others, while portraying characters that represent diverse and powerful human experiences. SpecifIcally, Justin wishes to use acting to advocate for mental health. Using his voice, art, and platforms to create content, Justin Mobley works to inspire, create awareness, and facilitate a deep understanding of the psychological complexities of the human condition. When Justin is not reading scripts or on set, he enjoys traveling, learning about ancient cultures, training in martial arts, helping others in his community, and participating in numerous events in various ways throughout the year.
