Dale Willman

Dale is an actor, acting coach, screenwriter, director and filmmaker. Having discovered her passion for storytelling much later in life than most, she is wasting no time making up for that. Her short film Invisible, made through the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative Film 5 program was shot in early April 2022 and doing the film festival circuit. Dale has a 1/2 hour comedy series she would love to see produced in the not too distant future. Changing Lanes got great laughs and reviews when it was read at The Cold Reading series in Vancouver in the Fall of 2019. Audience members would come up to her at random networking events and recount their favorite part of the script.

Settling back in Nova Scotia after 4 1/2 years of training and working in the Vancouver film industry, she booked a recurring role in a TV series, a role in a web series and started teaching online acting classes. Getting to direct her short film Invisible with a professional crew is hopefully just the start of seeing her words and ideas come to life on the screen.

Dale's ultimate "Dream" role would be to play Melissa McCarthy's mother someday. Hey, "Dream Big or Go Home", right?
