Mahya Dehghani was born on January 14, 1992, in Tehran. She has always loved acting as an actress. She holds a master's degree in theater. She quickly got a role for the first time in a television series in 2011 directed by Ali Zhekan. Following her first success, she played for the second time the series (Le Capitale) with the director Siroos Moghaddam. After her success in television series, she puts a foot in the cinema, including films by director Dariush Yari (The Hunting Season) or films with the directors like Narges Abyar and Yasaman Nosrati. She continues her career by playing a role in a documentary film by Abolfazl Jalili.
She won Best Short Film Actress at the San Francisco Film Festival for her role in "Baher Her Mind" directed by Hassan Akhoundpour.
