Oren Shkedy graduated from The Kibbutzim College's Theater School, to become one of the most sought-after TV directors in Israel. Recognized for his virtuosity and quality of work, his award-winning and diverse directing credits range from the hit comedy "Checkout!", which quickly became one of the most popular shows in Israeli TV and has gathered a cult following around it, as well as receiving multiple Israeli TV Awards and being nominated for an Emmy, to the critically acclaimed prime-time suspense drama "No One Leaves Palo Alto". He has won multiple awards for his direction on shows such as "Tzafuf", "Shabas" (nominated for the Rose D'or), "Shuster & Shuster", "The Hood", "Aliffim", "Greenhouse" and more.
Oren has produced and directed two award-winning dance films, "Glove Story" and "Private I's", which have screened in numerous festivals around the globe. As part of his independent production company, ScreensArt, he creates video art works, exhibiting in various galleries and museums, and is a member of Chlouche Gallery.
Oren continues to direct commercials for leading brands. In November he will begin shooting a new dramedy by Gur Koren and Erez Drigues
