Scott Day grew up in Colac. He attended the Victorian College of the Arts where they studied Screenwriting, graduating in 2024. His previous works include the documentary short Transition (2014), the animated sci-fi comedy short film Everyone's a Robot (2019), and the mystery comedy feature film Wanda and Sully (2023) which was broadcast on Australian television network Channel 9 and sold to Bounty Films in 2024. He also wrote an episode of the RMITV series First Run (2024) which was broadcast on Channel 31 in April 2024.
Day's preferred writing style belongs in the absurdist fiction genre. Their biggest influences are Charlie Kaufman and Franz Kafka.
