Benedict Sanderson is an English television director, writer and cinematographer. He is known for directing and filming the BAFTA nominated documentary series The Detectives: Fighting Organised Crime, and writing and directing the drama documentary series Dublin Narcos, which was nominated for three Royal Television Society Craft awards and a Grierson.

He has just released the three part series The Detectives: Taking Down an OCG on the BBC, and is in production with Atomic People - a landmark 90 minute film featuring the testimony of 20 survivors of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima & Nagasaki.

Ben is originally from Manchester, but lives in London, England. He also makes drama shorts, and began his career as a camera assistant on cult comedy Peepshow.
