The story, written by Jacobs and Federico Avino, and set entirely in Berlin, revolves around Charlie Schwarzer, a former star on the German stand-up comedy scene whose success seems to have run dry and who is drowning in debt. To top it all off, he gets dumped by the woman he thinks is the love of his life, Emilie. As Charlie tries to solve all three problems – professional, sentimental and financial – his father-in-law offers him a chance to extricate himself...
