Davide Maria Marucci was born in Rome. He graduated in DAMS at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Since 2007 he has worked as a filmmaker and director for major Italian television productions such as Palomar, Endemol, Magnolia, Indigo Film and Ballandi as well as for many RAI TV documentaries and Tv shows.
He is editor for cinema of the film "Paranormal Stories" and camera operator for the docufilms "Vera e Giuliano" (Rai Cinema) and "La prima donna" (Cinecittà Luce), the latter winner of the Nastro d'Argento as best docufilm 2020 .
The short film "L'ultimo sogno", his first work, received a special mention at the RIff Awards 2024 and the award for best dramatic short film at the Golden Short Film Festival 2024. Also a special mention from the young jury at the Voghera Film Festival 2024.
