Jenilyn is a New York based actress, singer, producer, director, writer, speaker, voice-over artist, and comedienne. She is of Puerto-Rican, Italian, Spanish and German descent. Jenilyn obtained a BFA in Music and in Theatre from SUNY Fredonia, upstate New York where she grew up, then moved directly to NYC to begin her professional career in entertainment.
She has worked alongside Alicia Silverstone, John Turturro & Christopher Walken in "Gods Behaving Badly," Julianna Margulies & Rita Wilson in the CBS drama "The Good Wife," Meryl Streep & Kevin Kline in "Ricki and the Flash," and with Oscar Isaac in "A Most Violent Year." She starred in "The Diary" which went on to win at a major national horror festival. She co-starred in "The Titania (Trilogy) Prequel," "HELL," "Prodigal's Road," and lent her voice to "Calypso" - all with InByTheEye - with several more upcoming. She co-starred as Brandi on Launch TV's "Living in Exile," Seasons 1 & 2.
Jenilyn began working in comedy and writing professionally when she was performing in the off-Broadway ensemble sketch comedy show "Fine, Funny & Female" at the Bleecker Street Theatre.
She had a rock n' roll band called "Sixes Wild," where she wrote and sang along with her sister, Jessica. Their EP is called, "Wanna Play?" (on iTunes August 2014). She also hosted live rock n' roll band karaoke at famed spot Arlene's Grocery in New York City in its last year (2018).
Jenilyn started Jen X Productions in January 2013, and cut her teeth as a producer with her comedy short "I Heart Jesus." She has since produced over 30 projects with many more on the way.
She directed her first film "Goddesses in the Loo" in 2015, which she also wrote and developed. Most recently, Jenilyn directed "The Eulogy" - which is slated to be part 1 of 6 in a TV movie series.
Lastly, Jenilyn is the co-founder of a brand new International Film Festival geared toward healing and hope in the world, coming to NYC this fall!
