Vanessa Beck

Vanessa Beck is a California native and began her career in film and television as a producer and director assistant working on shows including X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), X-Men: First Class (2011), Westworld (2016), and Silicon Valley (2014).
After learning production first-hand, Vanessa took formal filmmaking courses through the UCLA Extension program in directing, producing, writing, and production finance.
Her first personal project, Isobelle (2013), which she wrote and directed, has received awards for best short film, best cinematography, best actress, and best screenplay. She went on to produce, write, and direct six more short films before turning her focus to acting.
Vanessa's formal acting training includes Playhouse West in Los Angeles, First Take Acting School and The Meisner Technique Studio in San Francisco.
