Jenny Rustemeyer is a documentary producer and writer based in Vancouver, Canada who primarily works with her partner Grant Baldwin under the banner of Silvapark Films. They are known for cinematic excellence, and their films have won multiple Leo and festival awards. Without exception, their films have garnered festival awards and delighted audiences internationally.
Jenny is best known for producing two seasons of the Canadian Screen Awards nominated docuseries "Search and Rescue: North Shore" as well as multiple feature documentaries. Her 2014 film "Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story", which she also appeared in, premiered at the Hot Docs Film Festival and CPH:DOX before screening at IDFA; it went on to be broadcast prime time on MSNBC, hit #2 on the documentary charts for itunes USA, and enjoyed many hundreds of activated community screenings. Her 2018 film "This Mountain Life" highlighted inspiring people with a passion for the mountains and was able to bridge the gap between mainstream festival and mountain festivals before running a successful theatrical campaign.
