Axel's journey began with studies in broadcasting and media during high school, followed by theatre training at George Brown College in Toronto and acting at the Vancouver Film School. A full ACTRA member, he launched his acting career in Vancouver in the early 2000s, securing roles in film and television while developing his skills behind the camera.
As a producer, Axel has spearheaded numerous projects, including music videos, short films, and the indie feature The Road to Tophet, which he produced, starred in, and served as First Assistant Director. The film, shot in his hometown of Chapleau, Ontario, underscores his commitment to authentic, community-driven storytelling. His current projects include the feature film Santa Vs. Santan, in development with director Jeff Renfroe.
