Lindsy Campbell is an American actress and award winning filmmaker, currently residing in Albuquerque, NM. Lindsy has been acting professionally since 2014, landing a co-star acting role on the hit television series Longmire (2012), enabling her to join the SAG/Aftra Union. Her career and love for filmmaking has taken her on a wonderful journey being in front to - behind the camera. Lindsy has been creating short film projects in several different mediums since 2010, landing her first professional directing job in 2018, creating four different commercial spots for one of America's largest Physical Therapy Franchises.
In 2007, Lindsy started seriously pursuing her acting career when she moved to New York City. Lindsy Graduated from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in 2009. Shortly after, she wrote and directed the award winning short film, The Brazilian (2013), in 2013 starring Lauren Boyd. The festival run was a success and landed The Brazilian a small distribution deal. Lindsy returned to film school completing her bachelors in Media Arts in 2017 from the University of New Mexico. While attending film school, Lindsy was still actively auditioning; landing acting roles in: The Messengers (2015), Cents (2016), Foreseeable (2015), and Crossed Lines (2018).
After graduating from film school, Lindsy landed a role acting across Sabrina Carpenter in the award winning independent film The Short History of the Long Road (2019) and directed her short film, The Divorce (2019), starring Navid Negahban and Laura Niemi. The Divorce was well received during its festival run in 2019 and helped Lindsy land the directing and writing job producing and directing commercials for the FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers Franchise.
In 2020, the pandemic forced Lindsy to shift gears to live recording educational content for world wide institutions and local companies. This shift put Lindsy behind the camera much more and at the end of 2021, starts to find herself working more and more in the camera department on independent feature film projects, Detective Knight: Independence (2023), Dead Man's Hand (2023), and TV pilot Baron and Toluca (2022).
Lindsy has been a member of NMWIF since 2013. Lindsy has had the honor of being asked to participate as a Judge for the short film category at the Santa Fe International Film Festival in 2020 and 2021 and hopes to support her fellow filmmakers more in the future with opportunities alike.
In 2021, OffSet Web Series (2017), a non-profit geared to help provide film set experience to the community of NM, asked Lindsy to Direct and lead novice filmmakers in creating a web episode. The experience taught Lindsy how to lead and guide novice filmmakers in creating an episode of pure creativity and leadership.
Through her production company, ELDECA Productions, Lindsy has created commercial and promotional material for clients all over the world. Lindsy loves the art of filmmaking and has made it her life's passion to know it intimately on many levels. Whether she is in front or behind the camera, creating and bringing stories to life is what Lindsy loves to do, most!
