Biography

Actress, model, dancer and reality TV star Lauren Marin was raised in Orange County, California. She starred on the TVGN (TV Guide Network) docu-soap Tequila Sisters (2013), which chronicled the daily lives of her multigenerational Mexican-American family. She also appeared in the Rogue Pictures release Skyline (2010), which grossed more than $20 million at the U.S. box office alone, and co-stars with T.J. Hoban in the upcoming thriller Chimera. Marin was the subject of a cover story in the September 2014 issue of Locale magazine.

Marin's first passion was dance. Starting at age 4 she studied ballet, tap and jazz dancing. At 16, she was discovered by a talent manager who noticed her in a photo taken at a charity event. She began auditioning for commercials after graduating from Los Alamitos High School and within a year she had booked spots for Chevrolet, Axe and Burger King, which aired nationally.

Marin's reality TV series, Tequila Sisters, took its name from her Mexican-born father's successful distilled spirits business and focuses on his efforts to impart traditional values to Lauren and her sisters, Jennifer, Jackie and Catherine. The eight-episode season premiered on November 26, 2013.
