Nolan Schmidt was born to John and Deborah
Schmidt in Seguin, Texas. When he was growing up, he was inspired by
some of his favorite films to start filmmaking. He began his film
career with his amateur horror short, "Reaper Island," in 2008, and got
his first award in 2009 for his film, "That's My Pizza!" He continues
to make films to this day with his small film company, NHS Films.
