Biography

Lucas Younes started his audiovisual career with 17 years-old directing his first independent movie. Since 2013, he wrote, directed and produced several independent films and web-TV series. His movies and series have exhibited in Brazilian channels and festivals like: CineBrasilTV, Festival Internacional do Pequeno Cineasta, Festival do Rio, Rede NGT, VerCine Baixada, Rio Web Fest and others, receiving more than 14 award nominations and, recently, mentioned in a film study book: "Memory in World Cinema: Critical Essays" written by Nancy J. Membrez, Professor of Spanish Literature, Culture and Film, and Digital Filmmaking at UTSA - University of Texas in San Antonio.
