Nazaneen Ghaffar
Nazaneen Ghaffar is an Iranian-British television meteorologist. She is a weather forecaster for Sky News and regularly appears on the network's live early morning shows, Breakfast with Kay Burley (2019), The Early Rundown (2019) and Sky News @Breakfast (2018).
Her first TV industry job was for the Endemol production company in Bristol as a runner for Deal or No Deal? (2005). After moving on to ITV West, she got her first on-screen opportunity when she was asked to audition for a weather presenting position and subsequently trained as a weather forecaster with the Met Office. After 18 months at ITV, she joined the BBC South East Today (2001) show.
In 2010, Ghaffar became the weather forecaster for Sky News: Sunrise (1989), replacing Lucy Verasamy who had left to join ITV's Daybreak (2010). She has also presented forecasts for Channel 5's 5 News at 5 (2011).
