Jason began his entertainment career in Jackson, MI as a poet, songwriter and vocalist; including a stint as the lead vocalist for
Dali Hopper. When the music career began to fade out, Jason turned to the film industry, becoming a screenwriter and director. He served as a co-writer for Harmelody TV. In his director capacity, Jason directed the music video for Man Unkind's "God Saves Me", and the short film "Print Is Dead". He is also the host of JTV's (Jackson Television)art and music showcase, "SoundWave". Jason returned to his poetic roots in 2014, performing and hosting a monthly poetry slam.
Jason served as the Mayor of Jackson, Michigan from 2013-2015. Currently, Jason works as a City Manager for the City of Belleville, Michigan.
