Tomasz Perczynski is a Polish writer and screenwriter born in Warsaw in 1978. Initially studying Geography and Regional Studies at the University of Warsaw, he later transitioned into writing, developing a passion for screenwriting. His work primarily focuses on TV series and films, particularly comedies, including adaptations of American sitcoms like The Nanny and Grace Under Fire. He has also contributed to various international television formats such as Dancing with the Stars and The Voice of Poland.
Perczynski has worked on several TV series, including Niania, Hela w Opalach, and Baron24. In recent years, he has moved to Italy to seek new challenges, currently living in Bologna. He writes in multiple languages, including Polish, English, Italian, and German, and continues to develop TV series and films, such as "Martedì al Mare" and "The Breathetaker".
Recently he was chosen for the pioneering #WordsAcrossEurope program. (9 screenwriters from across Europe are creating 3 new TV series using VR technology) His original concept "Under the Eyelid" was selected for further development.
