George Ensle
- Actor
- Music Department
During the 60's Houston Folk scene George was sharing stages with Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and Billy Joe Shaver, and he is still maintaining the essence of that era, the story-song. He's been called a song-painter, detailing characters and places, landscapes and lifescapes, in concerts filled with wit, wisdom, grit and hope, stories and songs from a warm baritone voice, intricate finger-style guitar and keyboard.
He has released 15 albums in the USA and Europe and is currently on the Texas Arts Commission Touring Roster, a member of the Houston Folk Music Archives, and a songwriting mentor for Soldier Songs and Voices.
