Alex McFry hails from a tiny town in Alabama where his nomadic family of loud-mouthed storytellers finally settled down. He loves nothing more than to dig into his roots, find a camera, and weave the details of his queer, Southern identity into his films.
After creating a makeshift film program in college, Alex's passion for filmmaking drove him to get his master's from FSU's College of Motion Picture Arts. He's been in Los Angeles ever since doing what he does best: gathering people to join him to create queer content. He is the founder of McDorky Productions, this army of she's, gay's, and they's telling LGBTQ+ stories...specifically those that leave you with a smile on your face.
