Renata Pepper is based in Paris, France. She works as a producer,
production manager, location manager, and fixer.
She studied at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, getting an MA in History of Art and History of Architecture in 2005. She then continued her studies to get an MA in Film Studies from the same university.
After university, Renata started a film collective called Velveteen Screen with Anneleen Lindsay, Chris Lindsay, and Anita Norfolk, through which they made several short films and a short documentary, Guerilla Gardeners (2010). This documentary won the Pilton Video Streetwise competition.
Since then, she has worked on several projects, including short fiction films, documentaries, music videos, and feature fiction films. She most recently worked with The Civil Wars on one of their music videos, as location manager and fixer.
