Matt E. Derdivanis (Born April 26th 1985) is an American actor, born and raised both in Phoenix, Arizona and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Beth Derdivanis, a private school teacher and Kent Derdivanis, a well known and retired sportscaster. He has a younger brother who currently lives and teaches English in Japan. Matt's family moved from Pittsbugh Pennsylvania to Phoenix, AZ when he was only 8 years old, where he currently resides in to this day. Matt was very athletic growing up, playing both, soccer, baseball, basketball. golf, tennis, and football. He said that "the gym was perhaps his biggest distraction growing up, and never could find it in himself to take a day off." Matt spent most of his teenage years in Phoenix, Arizona where he initially attended Chaparral High School before transferring to St. Paul's Preparatory, then finishing up his high school career at Ocotillo Charter School, graduating 4 months ahead of the class of 2004. After graduating in 2004 Matt began to work odd jobs to support himself, where he worked both construction, grocery stores as a courtesy clerk, as well as veterinary technician. It is then as a veterinary technician that he found his calling to help people and animals. Matt has strived to continue his work with volunteer groups and charity organizations, which today has laid his foundation as an actor, and individual.

Dwayne the "Rock" Johnson" directed by Peter Berg.After a short hiatus, Matt joins highly reputable and respected producer, director, and writer Nathan Hill, to begin filming "Hades Awaits" A western tale set in the Superstition Mountains and the White River Reservation of Arizona.
