Drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 5th round (134th overall) of the 2004 NHL entry draft, but never played for them; he was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in February of 2007. He was then traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in June of 2010, and subsequently to the Philadelphia Flyers in February 2011.
