Wendy Hamilton-Caddey was born Wendy K. Hamilton on March 4th, 1966 in
Lorain, Ohio. She briefly entered the entertainment industry when she
was introduced to Andrew Dimitroff
through her employer CBA Management. She was then asked to perform
demos for a number of songs written by Dimitroff and others, with
lyrics by Joellyn Cooperman that would
be featured in Jetlag Productions's "Children's Classics" animated film
series: Hamilton lent her voice to such songs as "A Little Bit of
Magic" (from
Snow White (1995)), "A Season
of Love"
(The Nutcracker (1995)),
and "Follow Your Heart"
(Sleeping Beauty (1995)).
Mrs. Hamilton-Caddey was unaware that her voice had been used in the
final recordings of the songs included in the completed films until
2011, when she rediscovered them via YouTube. She now lives with her
husband, Edwin Caddey, whom she married in 1995, in Tacoma, Washington.
