Phaedra Vandenbrun is an award winning costume designer who graduated from the Fashion program at Ryerson University in 1994.
Upon graduation, she opened Raven's Wing, a company dedicated to reproducing military uniforms and civilian clothing from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Under this label she still creates uniforms for the 78th Fraser Highlanders commemorative unit.
In 1997, she moved to Calgary and after a few years of working in the oil and gas industry, turned her attention to creating costumes for theatre and independent film. Since 2006 she has worked with a variety of local theatre companies and producers including Theatre Junction, Morpheus Theatre, Cowtown Opera, Storybook Theatre, and Insurrection Films.
In 2013, Phaedra launched her new company, Wearhaus, a full service costume supply company to provide creative solutions to the performing arts and film industries.
