At the age of 8 he got a JVC camera of his grandfather and started to film stuff in the garden and surroundings.
Later on he made short films which he added in that camera, just putting take after take in the right order to have a finished short film right there on one tape.
With the age of 15 he started a sculptor school just to realize months later, that he wanted to became a camera operator.
But the audition at the company he wanted to work for failed and so he finished the sculptor school of 4 years.
During those years of making art he discovered more and more his passion for acting, after being in some plays.
In 2001 at the age of 19 he started to go to an acting school and successfully finished four years later.
Meanwhile he made his first movie called "Spiegel's Streichkleber" with his lifelong friend Roland Niederhuber and his
acting couch Charlie Simon.
In 2005 he presented his vampire movie "Exhuminus Exum - Die Macht zwischen Leben und Tod" in the Metropol Multiplexx (Innsbruck).
He shot the entire film with his colleagues from the acting school.
After making films for several years he founded the film production company "Immigration Pictures" in 2013.
Immanuel's focus is on making movies for an international audience.
