Ajay Banks is an actor, writer and producer.
He has been acting in film and television for over 10 years.
He has appeared in the Nickelodeon movie musical Monster High. In Lifetimes The Pregnancy Scheme and in the Netflix series Snowpiercer.
He has been featured in advertising campaigns for; Omegamart, Jack Links Beef Jerky, Snickers, Best Buy Canada, Smirnoff, Lululemon, Coffee Mate Canada and Door Dash.
He spent 5 years training at numerous schools and venues in and around Melbourne, Australia to further his education and understanding of acting.
He was one of the recipients for the prestigious Top Class Drama in 2008.
In 2015 he traveled to Los Angeles, California where he attended classes at the renowned Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre, The Groundlings Theatre School and The New York Film Academy.
In 2015 Ajay starred in comedy web series 'The Happiness Curve' Ajay and the cast won 'Best Ensemble' at the 2016 LA Web Fest.
In 2016 Ajay wrote, produced and starred in the short film 'Always' 'Always' premiered at The New Renaissance Film Festival in Amsterdam in March of 2017. Ajay was awarded 'Best Actor in an LGBT Short' for his work. 'Always' had its Australian premiere at the 'Perth International Queer Film Festival' in 2017. The film was awarded the 'Audience Choice' for best short film. In 2018 'Always' was made available to stream online at OutTV Go in Canada.
Ajay created, produced, directed and starred in 'The Realists' a Queer Comedy-Drama mini series. In 2022 'The Realists' was an official selection for 'The London International Web and Short Film Festival' for 'Best LGBTQ+ Short/Series'
In 2017 he relocated to Vancouver, Canada.
