Ajai's Stitch is another surreal entry into the horror genre. This title stars Edward Furlong and Shawna Waldron. Together, these two play a couple who head onto a healing retreat, after the death of their young daughter. Then, Marsden (Furlong) and Serafina (Waldron) find themselves trapped in a bizarre landscape by a maniacal shaman as seen in the film's first trailer. Horror fans can view the clip inside. Shirly Brener (Righteous Kill, Streets of Blood, Hit List) has nabbed the lead role in the Supernatural Thriller, Stitch opposite Edward Furlong for Thunderbolt Entertainment.

The film is directed by Adrian Ajai Mathai. Brener is simultaneously filming a supporting role in the comedy, Pendej opposite Danny Trejo. She most recently wrapped lead roles in the films “Hit List,” “Touched,” and “Sessions.” She is repped by Imperium 7 Talent Agency and Management Squared.

Penned by Maurice Billington, the film follows “A group of 4 friends- 2 couples travel to a seemingly odd location on a retreat in order to mend the loss of a child of one of the couples. During their stay their reality is shattered when their subconscious enters and supernatural elements change their perceptions. Together with an ongoing eclipse and another dimension where horror occurs, they come to realize that life is teaching them a lesson in trust, responsibility, friendship,...

Actor Edward Furlong may have missed a few steps over the last couple of years, but when this cat is on his game, he's really on his game. That's why we're rooting for him to get his shit together and are hoping that his next film, Stitch, is the first step of many in the right direction for him.

Furlong is set to topline the Ajai Mathai film from Thunderbolt Entertainment along with Shirly Brener (The Dunwich Horror).

The guys over at Shock Till You Drop have got news that hottie Israeli actress Shirly Brener has scored the female lead on writer/director Ajai Mathai's new thriller 'Stitch'. They are also reporting that Edward Furlong ('Night of the Demons') will also star. The sexy Brener (below) has a number of projects lined up at the moment including romcom 'Hit List' where she stars alongside Joseph Lawrence (remember him!).
