Sometimes a few actors stun viewers by playing that one role outstandingly. While actor Anil Charanjeett has always wrapped us in utter amusement with all of his roles, his work in the recently released film ‘Thai Massage’ is just beyond words. The netizens are going gaga over his character in the film!

Anil Charanjeett played a very intriguing character called Jhandu Singh, who is a wannabe rapper and has that eye-catching avatar with dreadlocks, chains, rings, bracelets, and a cool dressing sense. He is a taxi driver in Bangkok who knows every street and stop in the city and will create a memorable imprint on everybody who sits in this taxi.

The entertainment buffs were astonished to see his look, and why not? He not only donned the character but lived it! Anil stepped comprehensively into the shoes of Jhandu Singh and carried the role through the film with sheer dedication.

Rohit Shetty has created his own Universe, should we call it RohitVerse? The last scene of Cirkus brings a wide smile and takes you back to Rohit Shetty’s claim to fame ‘Golmaal’ franchise. How I wish if he can come up with a film based on this (you have to watch the last scene). Coming back to what you are here for and that is yet again a part of the RohitVerse with most characters that you have seen in previous Rohit Shetty films probably leaving aside just the two leading ladies (Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez). After Ajay Devgn, it seems we will get to see Ranveer Singh too as a fixture in RohitVerse.

Set in the late 1960s and said to be inspired from Shakespeare’s ‘The Comedy of Errors’, which was earlier adapted by Gulzar as Angoor (1982) featuring Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma in double roles.

Sidharth Malhotra, the star of the upcoming Amazon Prime Video Original Shershaah, has revealed that the inspiration for taking on the role as the heroic Captain Vikram Batra came from a meeting with Vikram’s real-life twin brother, Vishal Batra, five years ago.

Director Rohit Shetty is set to bring madness on the big screen with his new film starring Ranveer Singh. Presented by Bhushan Kumar in association with Reliance Entertainment the film titled ‘Cirkus’ is Rohit Shetty’s take on the classic Shakespeare farce, The Comedy of Errors.

After the massive success of Simmba and appearing in Sooryavanshi, Cirkus will mark the third outing of Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. The film also features an eclectic star cast which includes Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.

Cirkus is set to go on floors next month and will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa.

Mumbai, Oct 19 (Ians) Actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty are all set to reunite to adapt Shakespearean comedy for the Bollywood screen.

Titled "Cirkus", their new collaboration is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play "The Comedy Of Errors", with Ranveer essaying a double role.

The play has already been adapted in Bollywood by Gulzar as "Angoor" (1982), starring Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma, and the Bimal Roy-produced "Do Dooni Chaar" (1968), starring Kishore Kumar and Asit Sen.

Besides Ranveer in the lead, Shetty's film also features Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.

"Cirkus" is set to go on floors next month and will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa. The film, produced and directed by Rohit Shetty, is set to release in the winter of 2021.

While heading for the shoot in Sinaia in Romania today, the actor passed by an old monastery and stopped by to click a picture of the gorgeous structure. The actor tweeted, “Passed by this beautiful old monastery in Sinaia, Romania while heading for @SIBTheFilm’s shoot , had to share the view :)”

Nothing frustrates as much as a wasted opportunity. Hasee Toh Phasee had half its job done with the casting of the super talented Parineeti Chopra and the very sincere Sidharth Malhotra. So likeable are they together that one really really wants to like the film. Alas, the mediocre writing lets them down.

Nikhil (Sidharth) is the black sheep of his family of super-achievers, but basically a nice guy with a difficult-to-impress fiancé Karishma (Adah Sharma). A week before their wedding is to take place, Karishma asks him to take her estranged sister Meeta (Parineeti) under his wing for a few days. Meeta not only turns out to be ditzy and strange, she also has a mysterious past. And yet, in the midst of the festivities leading up to the wedding day, there starts an unlikely friendship between Nikhil and Meeta.

Hasee Toh Phasee keeps promising a good time just around the corner.
