Born in Manhattan, New York. He is of Greek, Native American (Choctaw), and English descent. He received an MFA from the Old Globe/USD program in San Diego, and a BA degree from Denison University. Acting credits include Jed in, "The Chosen," english dubbing for Netflix TV/Film, motion capture for "Red Dead Redemption," and a national network commercial campaign.
A classically trained actor, notable theater credits include Angelo in, "The Comedy of Errors," (directed by Scott Ellis), Antonio in, "Twelfth Night," (directed by Rebecca Taichman), and Mr. Darcy in "Pride & Prejudice" at Virginia Stage Company. Writing credits include his WWII play, "Luft Gangster," which experienced an Off-Broadway run at the Sheen Center, and was directed by Austin Pendleton to very favorable reviews.
In addition to acting, Lowell also competed as a 26-time NCAA All-American, and 4-time National Champion Swimmer for Denison University. In 2023, he was inducted into the Denison University Athletic Hall of Fame.
